How bad is the discrimination against white males and Asians at West Point? Similar to as bad as at Harvard, Yale, and Princeton—which are being sued by Asian groups for discrimination. According to the data, if you are white, and apply to West Point, your SAT score is not adjusted. If you are Asian, they subtract 50 points from your actual SAT score to get the adjusted SAT score that they use to decide whether to admit you....

I love the Wall Street Journal, but they occasionally write about stuff where I am an expert, and reveal that they are too reliant on twenty-something Ivy League grads with no subject matter knowledge in any subject. They just find some supposed experts whom they quote. .But their lack of knowledge and understanding of the subject prevents them from getting the story right. I got back from my 50th college reunion yesterday. I have been to reunions before. The new twist on this one was meeting Facebook friends.
