Sometimes you are in a kill or be killed situation. When you are, you’d better kill.

We discussed last week whether the patrons in Pulse Club could have attacked the shooter when he was changing magazines. The debate was about how many seconds it takes to change a magazine. Now we learn he was texting, making phone calls, receiving phone calls—something like 20 minutes on the phone during the incident. Would someone please ask the survivors why they did not attack the guy when he was engaging in activities other than pulling the trigger on one of his weapons? This discussion needs to be widely publicized so future occupants of such rooms will start having something in...

Dodging the colon-cancer bullet

Posted by John Reed on

In March, 2016, I got a test that said my bout with prostate cancer was probably over. I had the cancer, got the prostate removed, and got a subsequent PSA test that was less than .1. Over 4.0 is the score that causes urologists to suspect cancer. I have to get that test every three months for two years to make sure no cancer too small to detect survived, but so far so good. I wrote an article about it here to help save the lives of some of my readers. http://www.johntreed.com/blogs/john-t-reed-s-news-blog/115770435-the-dogs-are-never-wrong-or-how-to-avoid-an-avoidable-cause-of-death ‘Cancer won’t happen to me’ We all tend to...

Pulse Club shooting in Orlando

Anyone who gives publicity to terrorists and their cause has blood on their hands It must become illegal to identify the name and cause of terrorists who commit terrorist acts, let alone give their life story and put their photo on magazine covers. They are publicity stunts and any publicity is a reward for committing the act. Those who give them publicity should be held liable and made to compensate victims of subsequent terrorist acts.http://www.johntreed.com/…/68512835-terrorism-is-a-publicit… Not identified at Umpqua In the Umpqua terror incident, the police refused to identify the SOB. Initially the media made a big show of agreeing...

A list of the Clintons’ felonies

Posted by John Reed on

My college classmate John Dallen said it would be interesting to see the list of all the felonies the Clintons appear to have committed.Let’s create that list:I started it in the 3/96 issue of my newsletter Real Estate Investor’s Monthly http://www.johntreed.com/…/john-t-reed-s-real-estate-invest… Whitewater felonies The article I wrote was called “Whitewater felonies.” It said she and Bill appear to have violated the following federal felonies in Whitewater which essentially was a series of mortgage applications and documents to extend a necessary line of credit. My source was an excerpt from James Stewart’s book BloodSport that was in the 3/18/96 Time magazine. On 8/2/78,...
